Getting to Meridian Place

Meridian Place is very conveniently located whether traveling by air, train, car or on foot.

By Air: we are less than 10 minutes taxi ride from London City Airport. Trips from Heathrow, Gatwick and Stanstead can all be completed in under and hour.

By Tube: DLR’s South Quay is less than 3 minutes walk from Meridian Place. Access to the Jubilee Line – Canary Wharf is 8 minutes. Cross Rail is also located in the Canary wharf complex Transport for London Website

By Water: A river taxi service operates along the Thames waterway and offers a novel way to see the heart of London in a stress-free environment. The nearest stopping point is Canary wharf pier by the Canary Riverside’s bars and restaurants.

By Car: Vehicular links to Meridian Place are great, with access to London’s arteries and the wider motorway network just a few minutes away. Visitor parking at Meridian Place is limited since the freeholder sold our visitor bays, although there is a multistorey car park located 100m away.

By Bike: Cycling around London is a convenient way to get around and is now much safer due to the improving cycle route network. we have a number of bike racks located in the basement car park and ‘Boris Bike’ locations can be found nearby (Blue Bridge, Canary Wharf)

By Train: London’s great railway station network ensures convenient access to anywhere in the UK and Europe.

There are a plethora of excellent bars and restaurants in and around the Canary Wharf complex, as well as a host of venues on the Isle of Dogs itself. Whatever your tastes, you’re sure to find something that suits.

Shopping

The Canary Wharf shopping complex is large enough to rival even the largest out-of-town shopping malls. Everything from Shoes to Supermarkets.

As well as the usual London High Street locations, there are varied markets dotted across the capital. Nearby Greenwich is a must for lovers of antiques and knickknacks, whilst fish lovers should make a beeline for Billingsgate.

Entertainment

For movies look no further than the Cineworld Cinema in West India Quay.

The local Performing Arts venue on the Island is called The Space. It offers a varied lineup to meet all tastes.

Canary Wharf also has a diverse range of events throughout the year.
